Graham Coxon is most familiar as one of the most brilliant guitarists of his generation, both with Blur and now as a solo artist with five highly acclaimed albums to his credit.
However, in the grand tradition of many other trailblazing musicians, his roots are most definitely in art school, most specifically Goldsmiths in London where he studied fine art along with contemporaries like Sam Taylor Wood.
Over the years, Graham Coxon has created all the distinctive artwork for his solo albums, plus the cover for Blur's album 13; he has also continued painting a series of more personal work, most of which has remained unseen.
After a hugely successful year in 2004 that saw his fifth album "Happiness in Magazines" spawn 3 hit singles and go on to be his biggest seller ever, Graham Coxon collected together a body of work spanning his years at Goldsmiths to the present day. Prints of Graham's work can be viewed at The Vice Gallery, 77 Leonard Street, London between the 9th - 27th January 2006.
